Skills: Experience with heavy machinery: backhoe, loader, tie crane, dump truck, boom truck. Experience with machinery: tie inserter, spiker, profile grinder, and switch tampers. Experience in mechanical work on track equipment. Experienced in using transit to shoot grade for track that runs into buildings and also for drain pipes. Responsible for bonding and grounding of track. Monitoring and coordination of crew activities.  Supervision and evaluation of crew.  Ongoing review of procedures with recommendations of improvements when necessary. Monitoring of equipment maintenance.
