Shortline railroads and Railroad Contractors hire like Class 1
Railroads. Class 1 railroad require, clean background checks, good
physical condition, good work history and wiliness to travel.
More importantly the one requirement Class 1 Railroads do that
keeps them forever shorthanded is "Aptitude Testing".
ARC-Tech.Net FRA 213 Track Safety Standards excides all
requirements for the entree level railroad professional.

|
- RailroadJobs.Biz

construction foreman and managers, equipment operators and track
labor. Those disciplines are used to retrain the workers, making
them Technicians but not experienced railroad workers.

|

|
- ARC-Tech.Net FRA 213
Track Safety Standards Trained Technician pay for their training
so the trainees them self are invested. When Scouting new
track workers the Tech will show their best. The trainees come to
us like a computer, very good traits, ARC-Tech.Net adds the
technical training like adding software and your company takes
them home.
|
|

|
- The most requested to
RailroadJobs.Biz is "we need a experienced Track Foreman
with at least 5 years experience and available now." We
all do. But after more then 1,500 applications collected since
January 2007, that foreman doesn't exist. When road construction,
coal mines and the construction business in general is on a down
turn the railroad industry has never been better (See RailroadJobs.Biz

- Hiring companies are
encouraged to hire their own local former construction workers and
send them to ARC-Tech.Net. The hiring company gets the person they

*Technicians is generally someone in a technological field who has a relatively practical understanding of the general theoretical principles of that field, e.g., as compared to an engineer in that field. They are generally much more versed in technique compared to the average layperson, or even the professional in that field. A mid-level of
Technicians may be found working in a variety of fields, and they usually have a job title with the designation 'technician' following the particular category of work. Thus a 'stage technician' is a worker who provides technical support for putting on a play, while a 'medical technician' is an employee who provides technical support in the medical industry or to the medical profession.
