I started to work for Northern Clearing on November 27, 2008.
While I
worked for Northern Clearing I ran a Track hoe at night. My
foreman was Duane Bergman, my Superintendent was Jerry Myers, my
spread boss was Dennis Bergman. My duties were to keep the fires
going through the night, and make sure that the fires stayed on
the right of way. My work day started at 5:00 p.m. and ended at
3:30 a.m. My starting pay was $19.65/hr, as set by my union.
(Local 406 IUOE) My reason for leaving the job was the pipeline
was over with, and I was laid off.

I started work for the City of Ruston on February 4, 2008 and
worked
through to November 20, 2008. While I worked for the city, I
operated a
mini-excavator. My foreman was Clint Farrar, my supervisor was
Keith
Jesse link, and my operations manager was Troy Whitman. My
duties also
included me running a trencher, track hoe, backhoe, road saw,
and various other pieces of equipment. I repaired existing water
service lines, and laid new ones. I laid new water mains, as
well as sewer force mains. I
maintained the sewer lift stations, and wet wells. My day
started at 7:00 a.m. and ended at 3:30 p.m. My starting pay was
9.25/hr and was also my ending pay. My reason for leaving the
city was that I wanted a better opportunity to run equipment
more often.
M.G. Dyess Pipeline Company- Bassfield, MS
I started work for Dyess on July 7, 2007 and was a labor hand
for them
until September 5, 2007. My duties for this particular job
included
keeping the right of way clean from trash and debris, raking
tracks out of
the right of way, and picking up rocks off of the line. My day
started at
5:45 a.m. and ended at 7 p.m. My starting pay was 15.00/hr with
$70/day per diem. My reason for leaving was Lay-off.
